Palenque was around 40 C after walking around the pyramid site we were boiling, this is what we found a few meters away.

well the picture is sideways but if you tilt your head a little you get it, this is a doorway inside a pyramid, the maya were significantly shorter.

the tower was when I was young the tallest building in mexico, not anymore my parents took us there a few times the sculpture is bronze I like the background and the other one they are mexica dancers in the main square welcoming spring a dance dedicated to the god of rain Tlaloc,oddly enough this morning at around 0400 the loudest thunderstorm drenched the city.
